Bonzer
The Bonzer design was brought to life by the Campbell Brothers in the 1970s. This design consists of a single fin with a double concave between the single and the 2 Bonzer side runners. This design feels as though you are taken back in time. When surfing these boards you will find yourself taking lines you haven’t taken before. Which I find to be the most exciting thing about surfing.
The design I have been implementing on these boards, included a more subtle double concave between the fins. Whilst adding additional tail flip allowing you to have that looser feeling of the tail that we have come to be comfortable with. I have explored old school and new school designs of these boards. Each board has their place and feeling. Down rail, high volume for super drawn out turns into holding in a perfect barrel or a more refined and foiled board for hanging up the lip line and feeling loose of the tail for added shred-ability.
